FiRE + iCE Restaurants signs agreement for three restaurants in Central America, UAE
(Boston, MA, January 18, 2008) – Boston-based FiRE + iCE Restaurants announces it will open three restaurants in Central America, with the first location opening in Panama City in June, 2008. The three-unit Area Development Agreement was executed by new owner Ashok Buxani, who currently owns and operates two restaurants in Panama. This marks FiRE + iCE’s entry into the Central America and the second deal beyond the US market. FiRE + iCE also signed an Area Development Agreement for the United Arab Emirates in September 2007.
As well as the first Panama unit, other FiRE + iCE Restaurants scheduled to open in 2008 include Birmingham, AL on February 4th and the first of three units in Dubai this spring.
In addition to company-owned restaurants in Boston, MA and Providence, RI, FiRE + iCE operates franchise units in South Lake Tahoe, CA, Cambridge, MA and Livermore, CA.
